In the 21st century students, teachers and most of the schools are using online teaching tools. Edmodo is
useful and easy to use the tool. I am going to show you how you can use this tool and also my little activity in Edmodo. 

Edmodo is a platform which is helping us on online learning. It connects teachers and students. It is known as a Learning Management System (LMS). We can create online classrooms and share resources, photos, assignments, games and activities.

How to use?

Firstly, both students and teachers (also parents) need to create an account. We can use Edmodo on the desktop or an application that available IOS and Android. We can create accounts with outlook, Google, Facebook. Also, Edmodo does not want any personal information. You can just click this link and create an account! Do not forget to choose your account type.

As you can see from the picture you can create classes. If you are a teacher you need to create one and share your classroom's code with your students. You can create activities like true-false activity, matching activity and many more. If you are a student you need to join your teacher's class and join activities and start to complete the assignments.

WHAT IS LMS?

Learning Management Systems's dictionary meaning is ''A learning management system, (LMS) is a software that is designed specifically to create, distribute, and manage the delivery of educational content. The LMS can be hosted as a stand-alone product on the company server, or it can be a cloud-based platform that is hosted by the software firm.'' 

 Learning Management Sytstems are big simplicity for both students and instructors. It is the modern way to get education. There are several types of LMS and there are many platforms you can make content. Let's look at Moodle.

MOODLE 

Moodle was founded by Martin Dougiamas. It is a free and open-source learning management system. Also, it is known as the most popular LMS all around the world. We can access courses and resources anywhere in Moodle.

ANIMATION

 

With the help of technology, we can use many materials in our lessons. The animation is one of them. We can use videos or animations to make lessons and increase the attending classes. We can use Powtoon to make animations. Powtoon is very easy to make content and it gives you a free trial to use prepared templates. I made an animation too and It was so easy and quick. PADLET

 

Padlet is a blank wall to post whatever you want...

Padlet allows posting texts, media and what you want to post. When I first use the Padlet I choose my background. Also when you create a wall you can choose a wall, chat, map and many more. Here you can see the options. 

I chose little doughnuts for my Padlet wall. It is your imagination who runs your Padlet. You can drag, paste anything in your wall.

As a teacher, we need to be creative in everywhere in our lives. In our lessons If we do not have any creativity our students will lose their interest and cannot focus on the lesson and what we say what we tell. We need to ready for every boring situation. We need to include every student to our lessons. That is the key to the beneficial lesson and being a good teacher.

QUIZLET

 

It was created by Andrew Sutherland in 2005. It is a free and beneficial website for learners. Quizlet includes flashcards and game modes. It helps teachers to create study guides and material for their students and that is the reason why many teachers are using Quizlet. It includes reviews for your lessons and you are free to create whatever you want. And for students, they can see what their teacher prepare for them and make a review about lessons, vocabulary and many more.
